Oh, here is a fun issue that I am not sure how to tackle. This term I am talking two different research classes. Both are Social Science based classes, one is JOUR 435 the other is SOC 403. Both are research and methods, both have a book written by Dr. Earl Babbie. The first book is The Practice of Social Research (12th ed.) and the other The Basics of Social Research (5th ed.). They are, for the most part the exact same book. They seem to convey the same information with just a difference in the asides, and after a quick look at times Practice seems to go a tiny bit deeper.
The good is that I don’t have double the homework, the bad is that I just bought the same expensive book twice. Crap.

I do enjoy reasonable instructors. I spoke to my SOC instructor and she said either book would work for class and I should sell back one of the books to the store.
WIN!
